The italian country is positioned in 21th place in the world ranking of meat exports to China, and within Europe it is in 7th place.
Italy has exported a total of 4,609,236 kg for a value of USD 13,361,582.
The most exported categories were pork and poultry.
Pork has exported a total of 2,281,918 Kg for a value of USD 5,320,811. These values represent a decrease of 75% from January to March. 979,570 kg were exported in the first month and 249,077 kg in the third, with a difference of -730,493 Kg. It is important to stand out that there was an increase of 8% in february, as a total of 1,053,271 Kg were exported.
Over the total value of pork exports in March, the price per kg was of2.48 USD/kg.
If we talk about poultry, 2,258,656 kg were exported for a value of USD 7,135,270, that is to say, a decrease of -54% in the January-March. In the third month, -524,394 kg were exported.
Poultry´s price per kg in March, the average price was 1.85 USD/kg.
The "least" exported product with quantities of less than 1,000,000 kg, but with a considerable positive growth, was “meat and edible offal, salted, in brine, dried or smoked; edible flours and meals of meat or meat offal”. It decreased by 87% in March compared to January.
Besides that, we have the total imports per Chinese province. A total of 2 provinces imported more than 1,000,000 kg.
Even so, it is worth noting that the province that imports the least French meat isSichuan. In the first quarter, it exported a total of 25,000 kg.

As a conclusion to the situation in Italy, we note that the country has decreased its exports to China by -64% this first quarter. It exported a total of -1,388,551 Kg from January to March.
